Where have all the zoners gone?

Is it me? Have I not been my controversial self lately or has anyone noticed the same as I?

What I'm alluding to of course is the mysterious disappearance of people who used to tear into my right-wing, Tory, Thatcherite - call it what you want (I mean they always did!) - nonsense arguments with a vigour and voracity I admired, or with contributions whose points I didn't always understand. where has CG, with her ramblings riddled with punctuation, her digressions into the world of the strange, and her rather unorthodox grammar gone? whatever happened to allison's spurious accusations about points concerning the president? Even Blindguy, whose shots were usually well wide of the target, hasn't fired a shot in anger for the last few days apart from that one bit of nonsense about opinions. I do wish they would come back and portray me as a typical Tory whose arguments are things writt in water and of no use to anyone. of course, I can rely on Freya and Goblin to provide hearty and good-natured disagreement as well as pearls of witty banter, but the others hereinbefore mentioned, as well as anyone else who has criticised me in the past, should climb back on board!

Thanks. The thanksgiving holiday on my end was so busy I hardly had time for the net. Just email and the only free time I could get was late evening 9 pm -11 pm as people were sleeping.

Nah its not just Thanksgiving is it LL, you just haven't said anything inflammaTORY enough lately eh? Seriously though LL I think you may be losing your touch, time to post something really ridiculously right wing and then we can all have a good go at it hmmmm? Frey.

Yeah, I'm sure they'll return after Thanksgiving, slowly but surely?

Okay, the Lawlord controversy team are on the case right now and I'm sure will come up with something sufficiently right-wing to provoke a few condemnatory responses. Watch this space!

Glad to hear it LL, hopefully you'll be spending the whole weekend working on it....and come up with something really ridiculous like hmmmmm bring back Maggie Thatch?! Frey.

Well, thanksgiving is over, so watch out you returning hung-over zoners for the next bit of controversy to be released tomorrow.

Post 10 by Freya (This site is so "educational") on Monday, 29-Nov-2004 10:05:57

ho-hum LL have you decided to become a Labour supporter after all?! Frey.

The Lawlord spin-doctors have come up with the following statement: when we said that controversy would be released tomorrow - a statement made yesterday - we meant released to the Lawlord select committee on standards and privileges. We are confident that the release to the zone users will happen some time this week. Certainly, accusations that Lawlord is losing his touch are blatant political opportunism.

there have been delays it is admitted, and of course we'd rather they hadn't happened, but delays are less than they were under the last government.

I think you need to get yourself a new spin doctor LL, after all you've gotta spin it to win it!! (No I don't understand that either...) Frey.

Okay mi' old impatient friends, the Lawlord Spin Machine need spin no longer. The long-awaited dose of controversy is released on the news and views board! Which topic? Why the one entitled 'don't let the government minister see his children'.
